Be joyful

Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,

yet I will rejoice in the LORD,
I will be joyful in God my Saviour.

The Sovereign LORD is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to go on the heights.

-------Habakkuk 3:17-19

This is such an encouraging prayer. It is simple to say 'rejoyce in the Lord', but very difficult to know HOW. Here the answer is that He is the reason of joy, and He is the source of joy. When material resources were gone, support from man were gone, He is existing and making the change in this dreadful person. Therefore, REJOYCE, for the living God.

Luke24:

52......he (Jesus) left them and was taken up into heaven. 52Then they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy. 53And they stayed continually at the temple, praising God.
