I joined a different Sunday school today, a group of kids at age of 5. I fell in love with all of them!
When I was introduced to this table of three kids, I said, 'Please look after me because it is my first time to be here!' Two girls and one boy nodded their heads and said, 'We will.' They showed to me how to organise the folder on their table. We talked a bit about what they prayed for last week.
The boy Nathan said he prays everyday! Isabel said she wants to have good weather tomorrow as she wants to have picnic lunch with her friends. I asked for the same thing!
Then we listened to the story of Jacob and his dream. In his dream, God said to him that He would be with him always. I actually thought that passage talks to me as well. While I sat there with Loreta, another girl in pink, she said to be in her gentle voice, 'I love you!' Oh... my heart melt at that moment.
Then I took the boys to the Gents. Wow, I got the privilege to be in men's toilet! I even blowed my long hair with the hand dryer to look crazy. They all laughed.
At the end, we did craft. Everyone made a spiral ladder with angles hanging on it. I happily took my masterpiece to my friends to show off.
Other Sunday school leaders said those kids can be a bit difficult at times but I just found that they are sooooooooooooo adorable. The most important thing is , they all have the ability to love! Most of the time, we thought we ought to LOVE kids. In fact, they can LOVE us too! Go and say hi to them and be loved today!
