I've got a friend...

I got a friend. We just met for a few days but it seems impossible to split us now.

Well, he is blue, but has a cheerful attitude. He is slim, short, quiet. He is French but we don't communicate with spoken language at all. His major is travelling which I love. With him, I am sure my dream of 'to travel thousands of miles' will be accomplished quicker.

I've never been so close with someone in this kind. We enjoyed each other's company. We travelled to places together. We went through rain, snow and even HALES together. When the storm came, we hold on to each other and PRAY---God carries us both and keeps us safe. (We did have rather chanllenging weather this Easter.)

It's a big commitment to be together though. We are changing each other every day. I have to learn the stuff I was reluctant to do, such as going to petrol station, learning more about hands on jobs. He showed me more views of the world around. I'm sure he is being changed as well, in MY way.

Today, when we took friends to Shere, the prettiest town in the UK, I said to MJ, 'It's such an unbelievable feeling. Is this the same feeling when people first got married?' She laughed.....

Actually, it's indeed an encouragement for me. I've been hoping for soooooooo looooong before he evenutally came. At a stage, I thought I would never be good enough to have him. When the moment came, all the past failures and frustrations faded. The reward is suprisingly worthy for the effort and time of waiting.

This friend who's so close to me yet so different from me has changed my life, hopefully for the better and hopefully we'll serve better together.
