a walk in London

On the 10th, I went to London to see the city after attacks. It's a bit like visiting a patient after operation...

The weather that day was glorious. Crystal blue sky, clear and warm sunshine with the calm fat pigeons gave me a lot of assurance. London is still beautiful.

In my mind, London was always a quiet place. It's quiet because people don't talk. They just walk, step on buses and tubes. They never look at the other faces. Londoners were book-lovers and they all read exactly the same page....London is busy and quiet. However, I love London. The city itself is beautiful and full of story. People in it can only paint a shallow layer of contemprary flavour.

London now is even quieter... The restaurants in Covent Garden opened on time as usual. A few people are having English breakfast in the bright sunshine. It looks really warm..and London like. However, it slowed down a bit than usual. It's not as crowded as before. The voice are smaller.

Tubes are my favourit transport. They are still working! Though a few lines closed for checkup. I took a few pics in Northen Line. The number of passengers gave me a shock. Where are people? Those people who formed London as London today. They all hid themselves this weekend.
