碰撞

The practice on major chords today was hard yet productive. I spent good half an hour on repeating simple chords with my left hand and simple melody with right hand. Initially, none of the combination made sense to me. Gradually, they sound better and better when I hit right notes at right time.

They sound beautiful when two right notes meet at the right time.

Aren't we the same? It is so beautiful when two right person meet at the right time. Well, everyone is beautiful as God's creation, but the clash may not be perfect at all time for all people. Sometimes, there is no harmony when two people clash together. There's noise instead of music.

We may need more practice to know when and how to interact with the right person at right time.....

感动

钢琴的练习曲中有一首‘Jump the River’，超级简单，却是非常好听。它让我们听到一样东西落水的声音，可能是大大的雨滴，掉到平静的水里，激起一圈圈的涟漪，然后播散开来，然后又有第二滴，第三滴，第四.....

这几天，我被人感动的时候，突然想到这个曲子。因为感动，就像雨滴落入平静的心里，激起的涟漪，展开在心里......

I am encouraged by Elsa's drawing. Indeed, I am dreaming about me enjoying playing piano more in 10 years time. At the mean time, I am grateful for the learning journey. Sitting in front of the piano, I found that posture is very important for the sound effect, therefore, my back is getting straighter. Reading piano notes is a challenge for careless me. I often miss bits of information here or there and realise the big difference that a small mistake can bring.

PATIENCE is a virtue especially in learning piano. First time in my life, I found that long hour practicing isn't working here. I had to force myself to leave the keyboard after some time. My ears need rest in order to hear the notes more clearly. My mind needs rest time to time so that I can appreciate music more.

Give growth time. All will come, in its time.

Piano Lesson --Amazing Grace

I have been having regular piano lessons and daily practice for the last three months. Thanks to Calla and Joyce as my ever so encouraging teachers and friends. It seems that the door of music is being pushed open by my weak fingers....I am going to see greater things ahead.

When I reached the third lesson with the book 'It's never too late to play piano---by Pam Wedgwood', I practiced with the simplified version of Amazing Grace. I learned it within 5 minutes. Wow. I could play this great piece! That was by the amazing grace of God.

Time reverses to years ago when I first learned how to read. Playing music pieces is like reading books. We tried hard to remember the words then they will lead us into a whole new world of wonder.

With time, I've learned more new notes and techniques. I enjoy reading music loud with my fingers and the keyboard. God has created us with so many gifts. He is great!

大学里读过‘荆棘鸟’，为之感动惆怅。几年之后，经历了更多恋爱与人生体验，再读，又有更多感悟。与其说我读懂一本书，不如说我在书中读懂自己的人生。

一直喜欢钢琴的叮咚声，最近开始学习，练琴，再听以前听过的曲子，发现原来音乐不只是好听，还有更多的情感在里面。读懂人们某种方式的表述，是需要技巧与练习的。

从来没有读懂过任何人。某个时间某种心情某个巧遇，心有灵犀，只能说读懂了那个瞬间，却永远不能明白任何人。
