These pictures were taken in Doi Tung in rememberance of Mae Fah Luang (the princess mother) of Thai roayl family. This royal lady initiated and helped in the project of reviving acres of mountains in north Thailand. This land was a deplete home for those poorest hill-tribes in Thailand. After nearly 20 years of work, it's been totally covered with GREEN. They have the most beautiful orchid species I've ever seen. The living condition of those hill-tribes has been improved and the most amazing thing is that they are living there to sustain and explore the nature rather than to exploit the land.

North thailand has a large portion of Thai Christians. A large number of minisionaries working there with the local churches and go from there to work in south China, Laos and Vietnam. May God bless the land He created.
