Heard this old hymn on a Sunday two weeks back

O for a closer walk with God

I realized that these few lines are also the prayer from my heart.

The dearest idol I have known,
Whate’er that idol be
Help me to tear it from Thy throne,
And worship only Thee.

This is the prayer for the month and may I remember it for life.

PS: since I thought this, my time on blogging has significantly decreased.
