Hazel is my work colleague. We have worked together for the past five years. She kind of saw me growing up in this hospital. I love to work with her because she makes lots of jokes and stories to keep the long night shift easier.
She lives by the hospital and seems to know everything going on 1 square mile around this firm. When I drove her home, she told me the history about all those houses in the alley. She is a real Guildfordian.
I miss Hazel. I missed her every time she went for exotic holidays. She just needs to be here with us. Otherwise, working life would be different...
Hazel is religious with two things which I can never do, smoking and walking her dog Charlie. She smokes a loooooooot. Probably she is the only smoking person I can get on well with. I never attempted to persuade her not to smoke that much because that's just impossible. She lives with ciggarretts and her asthma, chest infections. Hazel walks Charlie every morning from 9am to 10am and buy him a chocollate bar at the end of the walk. We all know this. They are just Hazel's story.
Hazel collapsed while she walked Charlie that morning.. Poor Charlie, you must miss her dearly with her hubby.
2008 has been a year of change for Hazel. She went for a party...maybe first time in 20 years. She worried a lot about what to wear. Hazel didn't go to Greece this year for holiday because of the liquidation of that stupid travel company. Well. She happily went to Africa instead. She only just came back from Egypt a few days ago. .. Probably all these are just not suitable for her.
Dear Hazel, you're gone now, in the way you wanted. You told me millions of time that you will shoot yourself to death if you're sick and old one day. Well, God managed to do it in a more moral way. (Do you know? Shooting happened one day after you died! In this small area as well.)
Oh, dear God, what do you want to show to us? To me? Is this life? So tragic and unpredictable. I can not keep anything or anyone.

zhu ren,
you must be so sad... you take care
dont know whether hazel is a christian or not.
maybe life is tragic and unpredictable, but you can keep lots of things, the memory you work with her; the promise God promised to you; the friendship we have... ... yes.. this year lots of things happened, so many babies were borned, and someone left us, but God's love is never change.
take a good care of yourself.
lovelsa. =)
