2009 Valentine's Weekend

Valentine's Day, I was in a conference camp site. The beautiful sunrise attracted me so much that I slipped out of the dorm with my camera.

It was a beautiful morning when sunshine generously spread on the snow-covered farm and river. Birds were singing their favourite songs. Smoke rise from chimneys in the city. I praised God for the wonderful creation.

During the conference, I was reminded again about this verse '以基督的心为心'. I was reminded that Jesus LOWERED himself to become one of us. Can I do that? Have I ever LOWERED myself? One missionary talked about the importance of 'squading' for missionaries. He said, 'What good is it if you finished 4 years of theology course yet don't know how to squad so that you can be talking with others on the same height .'

I can't agree with him any more. God is telling me, 'Humble yourself to be best used by God and show the glory of God'.
